Union UMC presents The Living Christmas Story

Begin your Christmas celebrations by visiting Union United Methodist Church’s annual drive-through nativity, The Living Christmas Story. The free pageant will be held this Friday through Sunday, December 4 – 6 from 6:30 to 9 pm each night at Union United Church located at 7582 Woodrow Street in Irmo.

The event features live animals, authentic costumes, and handcrafted scenery.

From the comfort of a vehicle, experience the sights and sounds of life as it might have been in the town of Bethlehem more than 2000 years ago, including the blacksmith shop, people searching for a room, and the stable where Jesus was born.

Visitors in cars and other vehicles are directed down the road to “Bethlehem” after turning onto the church grounds. Church vans and institutional vehicles are given priority in line and should park in the lot on St. Andrews Road across from the church to be directed to the entrance to the church grounds.

Over the past 27 years, more than 145,000 people have attended The Living Christmas Story.
