The 11th Annual BBQ Fundraiser benefiting Sharing God’s Love will be held Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Coldwell Banker’s Irmo/Lake Murray office, 7464 Woodrow St. in Irmo.
Donations will benefit the organization’s ongoing community work and include a pulled pork barbecue plate with all the fixings. Guests can dine at the office or use the drive-thru.
Sharing God’s Love began in 1984 with the support of several local churches in Irmo. The organization provides families facing emergencies with basic necessities, including food, shelter, clothing and financial assistance.
The ministry has continued to grow and, in 2025, served nearly 12,000 people from 3,866 families throughout the Midlands.
Sharing God’s Love is a Christian-based 501(c)(3) charitable organization and does not receive federal, state or United Way funding.
