It is truly disappointing that 3 former Superintendents and 2 former Board Chairmen from Richland/Lexington School District 5, that I thought really cared about our District, would lodge a complaint based on inaccurate information. And, then send it to the State paper before Dr. Ross even had an opportunity to see it and respond.
Wouldn’t you think they would have respected another superintendent more than that? It is so sad. The facts were false. Our students deserve more integrity from our past leaders. Dr. Hefner disappoints us the most. He knows the character of Dr. Akil Ross. And the fact that Dr. Berg had the same type of contract when he served the District as an interim superintendent is truly a new low.
