Authors holding book signing August 15

Romance author Synithia Williams is launching her newest novel, The Secret to a Southern Wedding, with a conversation and book signing on August 15 at All Good Books in Columbia.
Williams will be in conversation with fellow author Yasmin Angoe at 6 pm, followed by a meet-and-greet/book signing running until 8 pm.

Williams’s latest novel is the start of a new series that follows three female friends as they navigate their careers, small-town gossip, and relationships in the town of Peachtree Cove, Georgia.

In The Secret to a Southern Wedding, Dr. Imani Kemp is determined to stop her mother’s impulsive wedding to a man she barely knows, but obstacles arise when she finds herself irresistibly drawn to the groom’s son.

Williams has published more than 25 novels since 2012. Her novel, A Malibu Kind of Romance was a 2017 RITA finalist, she is a 2018 and 2019 African American Literary Award Show nominee in Romance. Her books were listed as Amazon Editor’s “Best Book of the Month” in Romance. Yasmin Angoe is the first-generation Ghanaian American author of the thrillers, Her Name Is Knight and They Come At Knight. She received the 2020 Eleanor Taylor Bland Award from Sisters in Crime and, in 2021, an Anthony Award nomination for Best First Novel. Her books were listed as Amazon’s “Best Book of the Month” and Editor’s Picks and were optioned for TV which are currently in development.
