Black Eats Week 803 Returns June 23–29 with Food, Fun, and Community Celebration

Mark your calendars and bring your appetite! Black Eats Week 803 is back for its third year, running June 23–29, and it promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Khali Gallman

Founded in 2023, Black Eats Week 803 (BEW803) is a celebration of Black-owned restaurants, food trucks, bakeries, and creameries throughout the Midlands. From savory soul food to sweet treats and creative culinary twists, participating businesses will offer special menu items and promotions all week long.

“Our mission is to uplift and amplify Black-owned food businesses in the Midlands,” said founder Khali Gallman. “We continue to see entrepreneurs gain new customers and greater recognition from the exposure this event provides. It’s inspiring to watch the momentum grow.”

This year, customers can also join in the fun with the BEW803 BINGO Challenge. Pick up a BINGO card from participating locations or download one at BlackEatsWeek803.com. Dine at multiple spots, post your meal photos and receipts to Instagram, and tag @BlackEatsWeek803 to be entered to win cash prizes.

All event details—including restaurant listings, promotions, and updates—are available on the Soda City Certified app and the official website.

Food businesses can still register to participate through May 31 for $100. Supporters can also sponsor their favorite eatery via the website.

This year’s sponsors include Jabber and Isaac, PA, Imhotep the Drum, Essential Specialized Planners (ESP), The Cheer Lender, and Epitome of Real Estate.
