On March 1st, Broadway star Stephen Carrasco visited Nursery Road Elementary School in Irmo, accompanied by Irmo Mayor Bill Danielson. Carrasco, known for his roles in various Broadway productions, including the touring version of “Hamilton,” engaged with the students by performing a song and sharing insights into his acting and dancing career.
Carrasco is currently portraying the character Samuel Seabury in the touring production of “Hamilton,” which was being staged at the Koger Center in Columbia. The visit provided students with a unique opportunity to connect with a professional Broadway performer and gain inspiration from his experiences in the world of theater.
