CHAPIN – Green thumbs and budding gardeners alike are invited to gather at the Chapin Branch Library for a community Plant Swap on Friday, April 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Held in the library’s parking lot and pollinator garden, the swap is a great opportunity to exchange plants, meet fellow plant lovers, and add new greenery to your garden. The event will take place rain or shine.
Participants are encouraged to bring clearly labeled, healthy plants that are pest-free and non-invasive. Swap-ready items can include seedlings, clippings, potted plants, or bagged garden goodies. Even those without plants to trade are welcome—just note that you’ll be limited to selecting up to three items.
Swap Guidelines:
-
Bring healthy, pest-free, and labeled plants.
-
Only non-invasive, disease-free items will be accepted.
-
Aim to take home about what you bring.
Whether you’re looking to expand your garden or just enjoy a morning with fellow nature enthusiasts, the Plant Swap promises to be a fun, educational, and eco-friendly event.
The Chapin Branch Library is located at 129 NW Columbia Avenue. For more information, call 803-345-5479.
