Churches Combine for Peep-A-Palooza

IRMO, S.C. – Two Irmo churches came together just before Easter to host the third annual Peep-A-Palooza for local families on Saturday, April 4.

The event, which began at 10 a.m., was organized by Irmo Church of God and Family Worship Center and drew hundreds of participants to Moore Park.

Brandon Caulder, pastor and bishop of Irmo Church of God, served as master of ceremonies, keeping the festivities lively for parents and children alike. Meanwhile, Rusty Trotter of Family Worship Center shared an inspirational message about Jesus and the meaning of Easter.

A total of 9,003 plastic eggs were hidden throughout the park, with participants ranging from toddlers to adults joining in the Easter egg hunt.

In addition to the hunt, Mary’s Mobile Market participated alongside the churches, offering food and artisan goods.

Activities included a Peep-eating contest, a “catch the Peep” game, bounce houses, and plenty of candy for attendees to enjoy.

The Easter Bunny was also on hand, posing for photos and proving to be a favorite among children.

Bill Danielson welcomed the community and thanked the churches for organizing the event.

“Filling nine thousand eggs with candy is mind-boggling,” Danielson said. “The churches did a wonderful job of spreading the message of love and faith.”
