District Five Hosts Spring Block Party for Harbison Gardens Community

Lexington-Richland School District Five is set to host a Spring Block Party at the Harbison Gardens Community on March 7, 2024. Sponsored by the school district’s Community Support Services Office, the event aims to provide a platform for Harbison Garden students and families to access community resources that support their needs.

The block party will feature booths from approximately a dozen organizations, offering information about various programs and services available to students and families. The event is designed to foster community engagement and strengthen the relationships between families, the school district, and the community. Dinner will also be provided to participating families.

Recognizing the importance of collaborative efforts, School District Five emphasizes that healthy and vibrant relationships between families, the district, and the community are key to the success of students. The district believes in the collective effort of community stakeholders with a shared vision, emphasizing that schools and school districts cannot achieve success in isolation.
