The current Dutch Fork players were not the only ones to have a memorable weekend.
A pair of former Silver Foxes made news with their play Sunday afternoon in the NFL.
In New York, wide receiver Jalin Hyatt achieved season highs in the 10-7 win over New England. The former University of Tennessee All-American had five receptions for 109 yards.
Drafted in the third round this year, Hyatt became the first Giants receiver with 100 receiving yards in a regular-season game since last year.
Hyatt was also the first New York receiver with three 20-yard plus receptions in a game since 2021.
Down the New Jersey Turnpike in Philadelphia, former Dutch Fork placekicker Tyler Bass reached a milestone. His 48-yard field goal was his 100th field goal of his career.
He rebounded from two missed field goals in regulation to make a 40-yard field goal in overtime to give the Bills a 34-31 lead. Philadelphia got a 12-yard touchdown run by quarterback Jalen Hurts on its next possession to get the 37-34 victory.
