Former Irmo High Standout, Earns NCAA Division 2 All-Super Regional First Team Honors

DeAree Rogers, a redshirt freshman and former Irmo High School football standout, has added another accolade to his impressive resume by being named to the NCAA Division 2 All-Super Regional First Team. Rogers, currently a wide receiver for Lenoir-Rhyne University, has proven to be a standout performer both as a receiver and kick return specialist.

In the early part of the season, Rogers showcased his explosive talent by returning three punts for touchdowns, leading the nation in this remarkable category. His dynamic performances have included returning 10 kickoffs for 220 yards, 25 punts for 352 yards with three touchdowns, and contributing 50 pass receptions for 671 yards and six touchdowns.

As a key player for the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, Rogers has played a crucial role in their successful season. The Bears are set to face Harding University in the Division 2 semifinals after a convincing 35-7 victory over Valdosta State on December 2.
