IRMO – A golden celebration is on the horizon, and the community is invited to be part of the fun! The 50th Annual Irmo Okra Strut Parade is set for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., and organizers are now accepting applications for parade participants.
This year marks the half-century milestone of one of Irmo’s most cherished traditions. The Okra Strut Parade brings together businesses, schools, non-profits, and community groups from across the Midlands to celebrate in a big way. Whether you’re looking to promote your organization, share a message, or simply have fun, this is a unique opportunity to “strut your stuff” in front of thousands of enthusiastic spectators.

- Application Deadline: Sunday, Sept. 7 (space is limited, so apply early!)

- Political Entry: $200
- Non-Profit Entry: $35 (must provide 501(c)(3) proof)
