Golf Tips for Seniors: Finish Strong with Balance

By Robin All

This week’s photo provides several great checkpoints to help evaluate your swing—especially if you’ve been snapping phone pictures or videos of your form. (If you haven’t started yet, give it a try! Seeing your own swing is the first step to identifying areas for improvement.)

One of the biggest issues I see, especially with senior golfers, lies in the footwork. Poor foot positioning not only limits your ability to turn through the swing, but also impacts balance and power.

Another common mistake: an arched back at the finish, which often means your head is pulled back and your weight is too far forward. This creates instability and puts unnecessary strain on your body.
