IRMO, SC – The Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce wrapped up its 2024 business luncheon series on Wednesday, November 13, at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. The event, marking the year’s final gathering, served as an opportunity to honor board members and past chairpersons who have significantly contributed to the chamber’s success.
CEO/President Kerry Powers recognized several key figures, including past chairs Roger Johansson, Alex Salmon, and Cynthia Giles, as well as board members Nancy Embler and current chair David Kafitz. Each received heartfelt thanks for their dedication to the chamber’s growth and impact in the Irmo community.
“I can’t express how much these people helped me when I first came to the chamber,” Powers shared. “Their influence and guidance were what I and the chamber most needed.”
The luncheon closed with a reflection on the chamber’s accomplishments in 2024 and a look forward to continued collaboration and community growth in the coming year.
