Lexington County has awarded the Archers Lane Bridge Replacement project to AOS Specialty Contractors, Inc.
The project includes the replacement of two bridges along Archers Lane. Construction is nearing completion with the anticipated reopening of Bridge 6734, located between Treeslope Court and Shadetree Court, during the week of February 9.
The contractor plans to install message boards February 2 along the roadway to notify the traveling public of the upcoming road closure for the removal and replacement of Bridge 6735, located between Twin Creek Court and Hunters Blind Drive.
Construction is expected to take nine months. A signed detour will be in place. Residents within the immediate vicinity of the project will receive a mailed project flyer and detour plan from the contractors.
