The Irmo Chamber extends its heartfelt gratitude to the directors who completed their terms of service at the end of 2023. Mason Holley of Lyon & Holley Real Estate completed six years of dedicated service, and Chuck Wade, now retired from Fully Promoted, completed three years of valuable contributions.
The chamber is delighted to announce the addition of three new board members who joined the full board of directors on January 1, 2024. These volunteers play a crucial role in guiding the mission, policy-setting, and governance of the Irmo Chamber, serving the business community in Irmo.
New Board Members:
Tom Ledbetter, 17/20 Pro Cutlery Sharpening Service
Tom is a past Chair of the Irmo Chamber and has served on the board as an advisor since 2016. Recently retired from Midlands Technical College, Tom will now serve in a director’s role as owner of 17/20 Pro Cutlery Sharpening Service.
Emilie Keene, Palmetto Xpress
Pack/Print/Ship/Courier and Simple Plan Columbia
Emilie served as Treasurer of the Board for 4 years in her previous career in hospital administration. She and her husband, Billy, own Palmetto Xpress Pack-Ship-Print and Courier Service along with Simple Plan Columbia, a healthy meal prep service.
Melissa Busby, Wellhaven Home Care
Melissa is the Director of Community Relations for Wellhaven Home Care, a company dedicated to redefining in-home care with compassionate caregivers, reliable expertise, and an individualized approach.
