The Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce has named Taylor Gepper and Dylan McIver from River Springs Elementary School as the Teacher and Student of the Month for October.
Principal Matt Gams praised Taylor Gepper, noting, “As our current Teacher of the Year, she consistently makes a difference in her classroom. Her dedication results in exceptional student achievement, and her passion for teaching keeps students excited to come to school every day. We are grateful to have her as part of our River Springs family.”
Gams also commended Dylan McIver, a fifth grader at the school. “Dylan arrives each day with a positive attitude and a helpful spirit. As a Boy Scout, he’s always ready to assist others, embodying the caring and kindness we value. We are proud to have him as a River Springs Elementary Navigator.”
The Irmo Chamber recognizes these individuals for their commitment to excellence and positive contributions to the school community.
