Hundreds of residents turned out for Irmo’s National Night Out on October 23 in Moore Park. The annual event connects the community with local law enforcement, offering families a chance to meet officers, enjoy free food and drinks, and learn about public safety resources.

“We’re thankful that so many individuals, businesses, and organizations contribute to this every year,” said Hamed Javad, president of the Irmo Police Department Community Foundation. “Our gratitude goes out to all of them for making this another huge success.”

National Night Out in Irmo has grown into a signature community-building tradition, strengthening relationships between neighborhoods and police. The event is always free to the public.
