Irmo Police Spread Holiday Cheer with Shop with a Cop Program

The Irmo Police Department Community Foundation kicked off this year’s Shop with a Cop event on December 10 by helping 30 local families in need. The families received food, clothing, toys, and other essential items they might not have been able to afford this holiday season.

The program, organized by the Irmo Police Department and its Community Foundation, identifies families and seniors in need of extra support during the holidays. Officers volunteer their time to shop alongside families, making the experience special for children and parents alike.

The holiday giving continues today, December 12, when another 30 families will participate in the Shop with a Cop event. Through this effort, the Irmo Police Department is spreading kindness and making the holiday season brighter for many in the community.
