Ed Lewis was named as the Associate Municipal Judge for Irmo at the Irmo Town Council regular meeting January 27.
Surrounded by his family, Lewis was sworn-in by Irmo Municipal Judge Becky Adams.
“We need someone like Ed that we can rely on,” said Adams. “Having him here helps the town when we need another judge to be present.”
Lewis was appointed to a two year term. He is the administrator for the Magistrate Court for the County of Lexington.
