Irmo resident Jack Brian Pearson was named to the University of South Carolina President’s Honor Roll for the Fall semester of 2024, his graduating semester. The President’s Honor Roll is the highest semester honor for undergraduate students. This award is reserved for full-time graduate students who have earned a GPA of 4.0.
Pearson earned the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from the University of South Carolina’s prestigious Palmetto College.
Pearson’s further educational plans include beginning the masters program at The Citadel Graduate School, in the Fall of 2025. There, Pearson plans to pursue a Master of Science degree in Leadership.
Brian Pearson is a business strategist and executive advisor. He is the CEO of Brian Pearson Enterprises, located in Irmo.
When asked why he’s returning to the classroom at his age, Pearson said, “To inspire before I expire. Also to learn how be the top leadership advisor to build the new generation of leaders.”
Pearson points out that the state of South Carolina provides free tuition to eligible residents age 60 and over for classes at state-supported colleges and universities. Retuning to class demonstrates Pearson’s commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth.
