City of Irmo was presented to honor Barbara Willm, Vice President of Development and Community Relations at Lexington Medical Center.
The presentation was held on Tuesday, November 17 at the Town Council Meeting and received by Barbara’s son, Rob.
The honor was bestowed on Barbara Willm by Mayor Walker and the town council for her long term dedication as a patron to the town of Irmo for the last 34 years and for being instrumental in helping the Irmo Okra Strut with her support, service and sponsorships.
“She is greatly appreciated and now has the key to our hearts,” said Mayor Walker.
Rob Willm stated that his mother loves the town of Irmo and the platform that Lexington Medical Center has given her. Barbara has been convalescing due to illness. He further stated that she was released from the rehabilitation center and he would deliver the key to her at home.
