The Greater Irmo Art Guild has announced Laura Hoff as Irmo’s Artist of the Quarter. A newcomer who has recently settled in South Carolina, Hoff is making waves in the local art scene.
Her artistic career is rooted in a unique journey. After years spent working in corporate accounting, she followed her true calling, letting her passion for travel and life experiences become her greatest inspiration.
Her paintings are characterized by bold and vibrant colors that reflect her adventurous spirit and love for nature.
“I love adding my personality to my art, that’s what makes it fun,” Hoff said. Having fallen in love with South Carolina’s natural beauty, she said, “there’s nothing better than seeing a beautiful National Park or feeding a deer along the trail,” and her new home inspires her work.
Hoff is excited to connect with the community and share her unique pieces.
“Seeing a customer purchase a painting and knowing it’s going into their home makes me happy,” she said.
