IRMO — The Town of Irmo has launched the Mayor’s Uplift Initiative, known as Irmo Believes, a new community-driven effort aimed at strengthening families and building long-term opportunity throughout the town.
The initiative is centered on the belief that a strong community begins at home, with families who feel supported, safe and hopeful about their future. Through collaborative fundraising and outreach, Irmo Believes seeks to provide practical, lasting assistance to residents in need.
The Mayor’s Uplift Initiative brings together residents, nonprofit organizations, schools, faith communities and local businesses with shared goals of meeting real needs, removing barriers to success and creating pathways to stability and opportunity.
Town leaders say that by empowering families, neighborhoods grow stronger and the entire Irmo community benefits.
