The Town of Irmo has an opening on the Irmo Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA). The ZBA meets as needed
when a variance has been requested or there has been an appeal of the Zoning Administrators’ decision
on an item. When necessary, the meetings will be held on the third Monday of the month.
Applicants must be a resident within the Town of Irmo. This appointment is a four-year term with a two
consecutive term limit.
State Law establishes the requirements to serve on this quasi-judicial board. The board shall render
decisions in accordance with South Carolina Code of Laws, 1976, Title 6-29-790.
