Prisma Health fertility center opens new office

Prisma Health Fertility Center of the Carolinas has opened a new location in Columbia to better serve patients across the Midlands region.

The office will be located near Prisma Health Baptist Parkridge Hospital and will be available for appointments three days a week, starting April 19. Drs. Chelsea W. Fox, Lisa J. Green, Creighton E. Likes, Paul B. Miller, and Johanna B. Von Hofe will serve patients at this location.

“Infertility affects more than 15 percent of couples that are trying to get pregnant and can affect both men and women. Our goal is to help guide our patients on a journey toward parenthood, and find answers during a stressful and confusing time,” said Dr. Berry Campbell, chair of OB/GYN for Prisma Health in the Midlands. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to provide more comprehensive care to our Midlands-based patients through this new location.”

Following comprehensive diagnostic testing, Fertility Center of the Carolinas offers a variety of fertility treatment options to couples that are unable to get pregnant. These include intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ISCI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), ovulation induction, intrauterine (IUI) and donor insemination. Fertility Center of the Carolinas has three additional locations in the Upstate.

In addition to male and female infertility, specialists at the clinic are also able to treat related issues including endometriosis, recurrent miscarriages, hormonal abnormalities, irregular menstrual cycles, pituitary tumors, postmenopausal symptoms and uterine abnormalities.

The Midlands office is located at 100 Palmetto Health Parkway in Columbia. To schedule an appointment with a provider at the new Parkridge location, visit Prisma Health Fertility Center of the Carolinas or call 803-907-8670.
