COLUMBIA — Richland County is inviting residents and businesses to take part in shaping the county’s future as it moves into the third phase of updating its Comprehensive Plan for 2025, called Reimagine Richland.

The first public forum was held Tuesday, August 27, at 701 Whaley Street. Each meeting will run from 5:30–7:30 p.m., with presentations beginning at 6:00 p.m..
“These meetings are an opportunity for residents to share their ideas, ask questions, and learn more about how the Comprehensive Plan will shape the county for years to come,” county staff said.
Staff will be on hand at each session to answer questions and take comments.
