Rosewood Crawfish Festival Returns for 18th Year of Cajun Delights

Get ready to savor the flavors of Louisiana right here in Columbia as the Rosewood Crawfish Festival celebrates its 18th year this Saturday, May 4th, from 11 am to 7 pm. Head over to the South Carolina State Fairgrounds, located at 1200 Rosewood Drive, for a day filled with Cajun cuisine, music, arts and crafts, and family-friendly fun.

Prepare your taste buds for a culinary adventure as the festival brings in thousands of pounds of fresh Louisiana-raised crawfish for Columbia’s largest crawfish boil. Dive into delectable Creole favorites like boudin, gator bites, étouffée, and jambalaya, or sample a variety of offerings from food trucks stationed throughout the fairgrounds.

Groove to the sounds of live music on two stages. The main stage will feature performances by the acclaimed Yacht Rock Revue, as well as local favorites like The Ramblers, Easy Honey, Wambat Junction, and Cletus Baltimore. Meanwhile, the second stage will showcase bands comprised of talented music students from the Columbia Arts Academy.

Families can enjoy a host of activities for the little ones in the kid’s games and activities area, while art enthusiasts can peruse the arts and crafts village featuring work from a diverse array of South Carolina artists.
