COLUMBIA — The St. Andrews Woman’s Club (SAWC) marked the start of its new club year with a tea at the historic Stackhouse Mansion on Laurel Street. Prospective members were invited to join the celebration and learn more about the group’s work in the community.
The club meets monthly at Union United Methodist Church in Irmo and focuses on projects that support community improvement and environmental stewardship. Among the organizations SAWC supports are Operation Smile, Sharing God’s Love, Canoeing for Kids, Wreaths Across America, PAALS, Leo’s Landing, and Carolina Wildlife.
