Each year, the Irmo Chamber hosts their Awards Night and Gala to recognize partner businesses and members of the community for accomplishments and contributions during the previous calendar year.
The Large Business of the Year award recognizes a business in the Irmo community with more than 25 employees who has shown outstanding customer service, has acted in the interests of the community and supports the Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce.
The 2021 Large Business of the Year started with a dream and 14 acres of trees and dirt right here in Irmo on Western Lane at I-26. In 2019, Steve Padgett made an investment in the Irmo Community and opened the state of the art facility we know as Honda of Lake Murray. The site itself is impressive and more than just a car dealership. It has meeting space and creature comforts for those times you have to get your car serviced. The Honda of Lake Murray team is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service on all levels and quality vehicles.
