Jeanette Thompson, Director of The After School Zone Academy, recently received a check from the Irmo Future Growth Corporation. The grant program provides financial assistance to businesses in the town that are recovering from many months of financial losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
All local Irmo businesses are welcome to apply but must be able to document hardships and losses from March 2020 to the present, and must have been an Irmo business since January 2020. The applications are easy to fill out and can be found online at www.townofirmosc.com and going to the Irmo Future Growth Corporation link; or by coming to the Town Hall at 7300 Woodrow Street, Irmo, SC 29063 during normal business hours.
