The Coffee Shelf a coffee shop located in Chapin, has been sold to Petit Paris Studio.
Founded by Jerry Caldwell, The Coffee Shop has been offering coffee and pastries, new and used books, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere to the Chapin community since 2016.
Caldwell expressed his gratitude for the support of the community over the years.
“I want to thank everyone who has supported us and made this journey so rewarding,” Caldwell said. “It’s bittersweet to say goodbye, but I’m thrilled to pass the business on to someone who will continue to serve the community with the same passion and dedication.”
The new owner, Anne Shon, is excited to continue The Coffee Shelf’s tradition of great coffee and community.
“I am honored to take over such a cherished business and thrilled to continue providing the same level of service and quality that customers have come to expect,” said Shon. “Our goal is to maintain the welcoming atmosphere and charm of The Coffee Shelf while also bringing in some new and exciting offerings.”
Katherine Harris of Sunbelt Business Brokers in Columbia facilitated the transaction.
