IRMO, S.C. — The Town of Irmo announced that Human Resources Manager Karley Rawls has earned the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential from the Society for Human Resource Management.
The SHRM-CP is a globally recognized certification awarded to human resources professionals who demonstrate a high level of knowledge and the ability to apply HR principles in real-world business environments. To obtain the credential, candidates must master a rigorous body of competencies, including leadership, ethical practice, and organizational navigation.

Since joining the Town of Irmo, Rawls has played a key role in streamlining personnel processes and strengthening employee engagement initiatives. Earning the SHRM-CP designation further enhances her ability to support strategic planning and effective workforce management for the town.
