Unbound Dance Company will present “Afterlight,” an evening of original movement and storytelling, August 28-29 at the Lexington 2 Performing Arts Center, 3205 Platt Springs Road in West Columbia.

The company’s fifth full-length production, “Afterlight” explores what it means to keep living after life changes us.
Whether through loss, heartbreak, disappointment or simply becoming someone different than we once were, everyone carries pieces of the past. “Afterlight” examines the unexpected hope that quietly finds its way back.
Featuring original works by the artists of Unbound Dance Company, the production invites audiences to find pieces of their own stories within each performance and leave reminded that, even through loss, beauty, connection and possibility endure.
