This Saturday, Feb, 2/1/2025, Deepmala Roy will host an art reception for her “Valentines on Canvas”
collection at Artistic Aspiration from 12-5pm. Come by and meet the local artist from Lexington, take a
picture and get an autograph while enjoying the beauty of her artwork. Mrs. Roy will have originals and
prints available.
Deepmala Roy Bio:
I have been a home maker in Lexington, SC. Erstwhile I was an HR of a fortune 500 company which I bid
farewell to follow my passion of colors and canvases. My self-taught tryst with colors has led me to be
featured at Anderson Arts Centre exhibition and Lexington Main Library exhibitions and has won
accolades at Koi Online Art gallery exhibition. I have done commissioned art in Columbia and the suburbs
area. My style of artwork is Realism, Classical, Free style, Nature and Portraiture while Perspectives also
intrigue me a lot as well. My attempt is to connect my audience to the experiences my eyes have
witnessed and want to bring to them the exact views through my work by depicting my emotions and
visuals through my brush strokes on my canvases so that it becomes real life for my audience who is
standing in front of them.
