Winery celebrates fall with Harvest Festival

Newberry’s Enoree River Winery announces ticket sales for their annual Harvest Festival Saturday, October 8, 2022

With the cooler weather comes fall fun, and plenty of it is taking place at Enoree River Winery!Join Richard and Laura LaBarre, owners, and winemakers, along with the winery staff for the 9th Annual Harvest Festival. Gates open at 10:30 am on Saturday October 8th for a full day of wine sampling, crafts, live music, food, and wine.

Wine samples will start pouring at 12 noon. Live music includes the Time Pirates performing from 12 noon until 2:30 pm followed by Cash Money Experience playing from 3 to 5:30pm. Guests will be able to sample a variety of wines from Enoree River Winery along with special winery guest, Southbend Winery of Greenwood. Visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to relax and enjoy the live music, as well as stroll the vineyard to enjoy the natural setting.

The days event is also a showcase of local crafters and vendors showcasing everything from custom jewelry to handcrafted home décor, crafts, plants and more. Food service will be provided by local food trucks including Sarah’s Rockin’ Kitchen and Daddy’s Cookout.

Discounted tickets are currently on sale through www.enoreeriverwinery.com. Adult tickets, 21 and up, are $30 each now through September 25th. Increasing to $35 through October 3rd, when online ticket sales end. Day of tickets will be $35 cash only at the gate. Youth tickets also available. Adult ticket purchases include event entry, 10 wine tasting tickets, and a souvenir glass.

The Harvest Festival also serves as a showcase for sales of their Cranberry Wine. For a limited time, guests can pre-order the real juice wine at a savings of $3 per bottle, with orders being sold in pairs. Additional savings are available for case purchases. Guests to the Harvest Festival are reminded we are a smoke-free campus. No smoking or vaping are allowed. No pets are allowed and outside food, cups of any kind, and coolers are prohibited. We ask that you please abide by the rules so we can all enjoy a good time.

Known for their Wine Tastings along with a list of seasonal varieties, Enoree River Winery makes its wines of 100% real juice without chemical enhancements. Guests are encouraged to visit Thursdays through Sunday for the tasting experience. Tastings are not offered during special events such as the Harvest Festival or UnPack the Porch free music series.

The vineyard will be closed on Sunday October 9th and the Fall UnPack the Porch Music series will return on Sunday October 16th with a performance by Susan D. Taylor.
