American Legion Post 174 held their 2nd annual car show on Saturday, July 9 from 9 am – 1 pm at 801 Piney Woods Rd. Post 174 member Mathew Schellinger has spearheaded the event for the last two years.
“We give our vets and the community an opportunity to show off their cars,’ said Schellinger. “We’d like to thank the different organizations from around the area that come together to help put the show on.”
The event is scheduled for the first weekend after the Fourth of July each year and NAPA, Allstate and Steve’s Burgers were some of the sponsors for this year’s show. Judges award the top 20 finalists a trophy with the winner receiving the Best of Show trophy.
