The Irmo Police Department is pleased to announce that we will once again be hosting the annual National Night Out celebration. This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022 from 5:30 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the Community Park of Irmo located at 7507 Eastview Drive in Irmo, South Carolina.
This event is an amazing opportunity for Law Enforcement to come together in celebration with the community that we serve. There will be food and beverage available at no cost, and entry to the event is free. Attendees will be able to meet with officers of the Irmo Police Department, S.L.E.D., and other law enforcement agencies.
There will be a drone demonstration, display of bomb disposal equipment, sno-cones, and many other attractions. We are also pleased to announce that this year will mark the return of the rib-eating contest between the Irmo Police Department and Irmo Fire District, which was a mainstay of this event prior to COVID-19. All are welcome and we look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday.
