A search is underway for a man who’s wanted after an attempted sexual assault at Chapin’s Crooked Creek Park.
Lexington County Sheriff’s Department said the attack happened the afternoon of May 21.
A woman exercising in the park said a shirtless man wearing khaki cargo shorts who appeared to be in his 20s grabbed her and tried to pull her into the woods.
LCSD released a sketch based on the victim’s description and is asking for help to find the attacker. Anyone who can identify him, his location, or has any information about the assault, is asked to call the sheriff’s department at 803-785-8230, call CrimeStoppers at 888-CRIME-SC or submit an online tip.
