On October 26, four firefighters from the Columbia-Richland Fire Department received Stork Awards, presented to responders who participate in the pre-hospital delivery of a newborn. The firefighters helped deliver a baby girl earlier in October. Members of the baby’s family attended the ceremony and said they are happy to be considered part of the fire department’s family.
