Bags, Beers, and Braggin’ Rights: Cornhole for a Cause

On Saturday, May 17, Moore Park came alive with friendly competition and community spirit as the Leadership Lexington County Class of 2025 hosted their “Bags, Beers, and Braggin’ Rights” Cornhole Tournament. The event, held at 7507 Eastview Drive, kicked off at 11 a.m. and featured food and beverages generously provided by local sponsors.

Capital City Cornholers took first place.

Proceeds from the tournament supported Leadership Lexington County, a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to cultivating informed, engaged leaders. Through immersive, hands-on experiences, the program equips participants with a deeper understanding of the resources, challenges, and opportunities within Lexington County. Graduates emerge better prepared to make meaningful contributions and take on leadership roles in their communities.

The tournament not only raised funds but also strengthened connections among local leaders, reinforcing the mission of Leadership Lexington County to build a stronger, more collaborative future for the region.
