Barb Waldman for Town Council

Next Tuesday, Nov. 4, the citizens of Irmo have a chance to re-elect Barb Waldman to Irmo Town Council. Barb has proven to be an excellent council member, making her decisions based on research and what is best for the people of Irmo. She is always responsive to questions from citizens.

For any town, future development of businesses and family homes needs to be appropriate for the existing community. Barb advocates for smart development and zoning regulations. She supports efforts to get youth involved in the community through her strong connections with our D5 schools.

Barb also is a strong supporter of the Irmo Police and Fire Departments, understanding that we need to have a safe community.

Supporting candidates who are trustworthy, intelligent and who seek office not for public glory but in order to serve, is critical in local government and beyond. Barb Waldman fits that description.

Typically, voter turnout for the Irmo Town Council races is low. This year, the two candidates who receive the most votes will win this election. Thus, if you want to see responsible elected officials making decision about your neighborhoods, fire and safety, business development and zoning for smart development, I urge you to schedule time on Nov. 4 between 7am-7pm to vote for Barb Waldman for Irmo Town Council.
