The Stivers Chevrolet Big Bass Tournament will be held September 27 out of Dreher Island State Park.
The tournament will benefit the SC Troopers Association’s Foundation Fund which is a 501-C-3 tax deductible foundation.
Stivers Chevrolet has donated the payback to anglers. The other sponsors are Palmetto State Armory of Columbia; Palmetto Electrical Systems of Ninety Six, and Brand Buzz of Lexington.
The Foundation Fund will benefit from the anglers who donate $95 to participate in the tournament.
Fishing begins at 7 am and ends with a 3 pm Weigh-In. Scales open at 8 am. Weigh-in periods are 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm.
The payback is a guaranteed $8,900 in cash with seven places for each weigh-in period.
Anglers may bring a young angler along with no additional fee. A young angler is a youth who has not reached their 15th birthday. Young Anglers will compete for one place that pays $100 in each of the four periods.
The overall Big Bass winner will receive an additional $500 and a $600 gift card from Palmetto State Armory. The other three period winners and the top Young Angler will receive a $100 gift card from Palmetto State Armory.
