This month’s Business Bites featured a talk by Bill Danielson, Chief Operating Partner of Datapay and Mayor of Irmo. He spoke to the Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce about an important new government form called the Beneficial Ownership Information Report (BOIR). Business owners are required to file this form by the end of the year so the government can identify who owns businesses.
Danielson explained the details of the form and warned about the risks of not filing it on time. He made sure to help attendees understand how this could impact their businesses.
