Chapin High Students Brighten First Graders’ Day with Books and Kindness

Chapin, SC – On September 18, students from the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy at Chapin High School brought joy and inspiration to first graders at Ballentine Elementary School. Each first grader received five books, generously donated by Chick-fil-A Ballentine, along with a handwritten note of encouragement from the high school students.

This initiative aimed to foster a love for reading while promoting kindness and mentorship between the older and younger students. The Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy focuses on developing leadership skills, and this visit provided an excellent opportunity for the high school students to practice their leadership abilities in a meaningful way.

The interaction not only provided the first graders with new reading materials but also created a memorable experience that emphasized the importance of community support and encouragement. Thank you to the students of Chapin High and Chick-fil-A Ballentine for making a positive impact in the lives of these young readers!
