IRMO, SC – Bethlehem Lutheran Church warmly invites the community to “Come Celebrate God’s Creation” on Saturday, July 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 10,000 Broad River Road in Irmo. This family-friendly event promises a fun-filled day of activities that celebrate nature and our role in preserving it.
The event will feature a variety of engaging activities for all ages, including crafts, storytelling, music, and opportunities to meet and learn about live animals. Kids will especially enjoy the hands-on activities such as making suncatchers, bird feeders, grass babies, and bottle cap art, as well as creating with clay and planting. These crafts are designed to spark creativity and teach children about the beauty of nature.
In addition to the crafts, there will be a scavenger hunt with exciting prizes and free snacks available throughout the day. The “Dogs on the Run” food truck will also be on-site, offering a delicious selection of food for purchase.
A special highlight of the event will be a presentation from Keep the Midlands Beautiful, an organization dedicated to environmental conservation. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about recycling and how to make more sustainable choices to help protect our planet.
