Live music will fill the Irmo Community Park during a free concert of classic music and dance band tunes at the outdoor amphitheater Sunday, March 14 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Come meet the Riverland Band and hear music of many genres. Riverland will be presenting a wide variety of sounds from decades past and present, performed by professional local musicians and vocalists. Local dancers will also be on hand to accompany the musicians with old-time swing and other dances.
The Cap James Music Ministry Riverland Band was established to provide entertainment at no cost to charitable event organizers, so that dollars budgeted for entertainment can go directly to support the charity.
Riverland is available for charitable events, civic groups, churches, veterans, hospitals, senior citizens and other groups and facilities that may not be able to afford to pay for a professional band. For more information about this organization and the band members, visit www.riverlandband.org.
