District Five holds commencement for adult education

Lexington-Richland School District Five held the Class of 2022 Adult and Community Education Commencement June 23.

Graduates were presented diplomas by Paula Wright, Director of Adult Education and Dr. Michael Harris, School District Five Chief of Student Services and Planning.

The Class of 2022 Adult Education graduates included Forrest Addy, Landon Addy, Krystin Adkins, Alejandra Benavides, Thomas Brown, Alexis Bryant, Gracyn Burkett, Aiden Carter, Elijah Cumbee, Elise Daniels, Arayviah Davis, Dominic Dryden, Javan Domin, Sarah Ford, Noah Goff, Ryan Goforth, Benjamin Guerra, Benjamin Hardaway, Savion Holmes, Bry’anna Jackson, Travis Johnston, Nickolas Keisler, Noah Kilpatrick, Justice Martin, Bailee Matheson, Christopher McKnight, Markia Miller, Ethan Moskal, Liberty Paratto, Savannah Stacey, James Stailey, Elizabeth Sturkie, Taryn Watson, Harley Widener, and Day Shawn Williams.

Graduation honorees included: Paw Ta Gay, Angie Hall, Maurica Josey, and San Mai.

“Adult Education students are strength and courage personified as they pursue life-changing goals,” said School District Five Adult Education Director Paula Wright. “Our students not only recognize the value of education, but also the individual value each of them brings to our community. We are extremely proud of the accomplishments of the class of 2022, and we look forward to watching them continue to excel in the future.”
