District Five Hosts Event for those seeking Teacher Certification

Lexington-Richland School District Five is pleased to extend an invitation to individuals aspiring to become certified teachers. An informative event will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Center for Advanced Technical Studies (The Center).

This event offers a valuable opportunity for attendees to engage in one-on-one discussions with representatives from colleges and alternative certification organizations. These discussions will focus on identifying the most suitable pathway for completing a degree or obtaining certification to embark on a rewarding career in teaching.

Participants will have the chance to explore various options regardless of their current educational level. For individuals holding a Bachelor’s degree, pathways to commence teaching for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year will be discussed. Additionally, those working towards completing their undergraduate degree can meet with partner colleges and universities to explore further opportunities.
