Veteran administrator Jason Pollock has been named the Director of Student Services for School District Five. He replaces Kelly Brown who was named Deputy Superintendent for the Sumter School District.
“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve as the district’s Director of Student Services,” Pollock said. “This position allows me to continue to support students, families, and educators which is my absolute passion. I look forward to building stronger relationships with all stakeholders and serving our district community.”
Pollock currently serves as the District’s Student Services Officer. Prior to that position, he served as principal of H. E. Corley Elementary School Leadership Magnet and Montessori Magnet from 2017-2023. He earned a Masters in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College and a Bachelor of Science from Winthrop University.

His experience as a principal, assistant principal, and most recently as our Student Services Officer has given him a deep understanding of the diverse needs of our schools. I am confident he will continue to strengthen the exceptional support and services we provide across Lexington-Richland School District Five.”
